Closure of Front Office Walk-in Payments
EFFECTIVE MONDAY, MARCH 23, 2020, THE ISLAND WATER ASSOCIATION, INC. WILL CLOSE WALK-IN ACCESS FOR PAYMENTS AT THE MAIN OFFICE.
This temporary change is consistent with Federal and State guidelines to encourage social distancing to minimize potential exposure to the COVID-19 virus.
We offer members several convenient ways to pay your water service bill:
Visit our billpay here to pay a bill using debit or credit card. You can perform a one-time payment without creating an account with just your account number.
Call our office at (239) 472-1502 to set up for recurring bank draft payments (Autopay).
Use dropbox located outside the administrative office entrance during normal business hours. Checks only, no cash.

Current Irrigation Restrictions
South Florida Water Management District has the following watering restrictions for Sanibel for existing landscaping:
- Residents/Businesses with an odd numbered street address may water on Monday and Thursday, between 12 AM to 9 AM or 5 PM to 12 AM.
- Residents/Businesses with an even numbered street address, no street address, or those that irrigate both even and odd addresses may water on Tuesday and Friday, between 12 AM to 9 AM or 5 PM to 12 AM.
Following are watering restrictions for Captiva and unincorporated Lee County for existing landscaping:
- Residents/Businesses with an odd numbered street address may water on Wednesday and Saturday, between 12 AM to 9 AM or 5 PM to 12 AM.
- Residents/Businesses with an even numbered street address or no street address my water on Thursday and Sunday, between 12 AM to 9 AM or 5 PM to 12 AM.
